"You know what I say? I say one down, a couple hundred thousand to go. I don't mean to get on my high horse, but I'm telling you I do not like the deer, I'm sick of it, they're taking over, they're like rats, they're destroying the ecosystem. I see a dead deer on the side of the road, and I think 'That's a start'." -Dean Armitage, Get Out
Smart. Funny. Suspenseful.
Chris(Daniel Kaluuya), a black man, and his white girlfriend, Rose(Allison Williams), visit her parent's for the weekend. ... That's all you need to know.
Listen. I not even going to review this for an original review. Y’all will have to wait a couple of months when I do my “place on the shelf.” Because, this movie is too good to spoil and to talk about it accurately, you got to talk about spoilers. So when the hype dies down, I'll come back to this movie.
All I’ll say is when it comes out next week to all theaters GO SEE IT! I think this requested watching for all. Don’t look it up. Don’t even look at the trailer, just go and watch it; because it is a ride!
And, I’ll call it now, there is going to be A LOT of talk around this movie. Maybe even Oscar Nominee talk.
FLOOR OR DOOR?
Should it have been left on the cutting room floor or should you be running out the door to see it?
Door. Without a doubt.
