"Are you ready to discover who you really are?" -Dr. Sophia Rikkin, Assassin's Creed
I don't think anyone in this movie knew who they really were.
This might be the quickest review ever.
Cal Lynch(Micheal Fassbender), with new technology, lives out the experiences of Aguilar de Nerha, an assassin from the 12th century with whom he shared DNA. Cal soon begins to realize those who he thought were helping him in the present, are a part of the same oppressive organization that his ancestor once fought against.
Turns out it was sepia-filtered trash.
The soundtrack was okay.
Marion Cottilard was great (as usual), with what she was given as Dr. Sophia Rikkin. I honestly don't understand why she even did this movie.
When you adapt something at least keep the general theme of what you're adapting! It sacrifices the revelating storyline of the game for… I have no clue.
The lackluster CGI and poor editing added to the atrocity.
If you haven’t played the game, then it will be a mediocre action film with some good fight sequences. However, if you have played the game, then it’s a waste of time and money.
And, they could've stretched this into a Trilogy, but with that stupid ending, the movie missed its chance even to make more money.
FLOOR OR DOOR?
Should it have been left on the cutting room floor or should you be running out the door to see it?
